Danilo Garcia Di Meo is an italian documentary photographer. He was born in Rome, after graduating from Arts High School and Academy of Fine Arts, he received his Master’s degree at the Leica Akademie Italy in Milan and at Officine Fotografiche in Rome studying with photo editor’s National Geographic Marco Pinna and with Lina Pallotta.After his studies, he started a freelance profession in full.

Danilo Garcia Di Meo (born in Rome, 1989) is a italian social-documentary photographer.After graduating from Arts High School and Academy of Fine Arts, he started a freelance profession in full.
Currently he collaborates with the international press photo agency AGF, associations and cooperatives, especially in the social content.
Collaborates with the photojournalism association Witness Journal. He takes part in Sky Arts Master of Photography 2019.
Di Meo’s corporate works include clients as Formula E, Calzedonia group, Corona, Starbucks, Ikea and Sephora.

His projects has allowed him to receive several international awards as the Gran Prix at “Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest”, “Moscow International Fotography Awards”, “Tokyo International Fotography Awards”, “Documentary Family Awards”, “VOHH – Voice of Human and Hope” and have been exhibited at many festivals worldwide including Moscow, Berlin, Dresden, Budapest, Glasgow, Athens, Cape Town, Chittagong, Mexico City, Istanbul, Shanghai, Ljubljana, Krasnodar (Photovista), Indian Photography Festival, Rome.

His work has been published in international and national magazines including: Elle, National Geographic.it, l’Espresso, la Repubblica, Corriere della Sera, Ria.ru, Uncertain States, Russia Beyond Headlines.

Danilo Garcia Di Meo (nato a Roma, 1989) si occupa di fotografia sociale-documentaria.
Dopo il Liceo Artistico e l’Accademia di Belle Arti, si dedica full time alla professione da fotografo freelance.
Attualmente lavora con l’agenzia fotogiornalistica AGF, associazioni e cooperative, soprattutto in ambito sociale.
Collabora con l’associazione di fotogiornalismo Witness Journal. Nel 2019 è selezionato da Sky Arte per Master of Photography .
Tra i lavori corporate sono presenti clienti come Formula E, Calzedonia group, Corona, Starbucks, Ikea e Sephora.

I suoi progetti gli hanno permesso di ricevere diversi premi internazionali come il Gran Premio all’ “Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest”, “Tokyo International Fotography Awards”, “Moscow International Fotography Awards”, “Documentary Family Awards”, “VOHH – Voice of Human and Hope” e ha esposto in diversi festival nel mondo come a Mosca, Berlino, Dresda, Budapest, Glasgow, Città del Capo, Atene, Chittagong, Città del Messico, Istanbul, Shanghai, Ljubljana, Krasnodar (Photovista), Indian Photography Festival, Roma.
